Coach nr. 2 Parlour and bedroom of the Queen of Italy.

This convoy service the King Umberto I° of Savoia and subsequently of King Vittorio Emanuele III°. It represented the maximum luxury and the railway comfort.
The coach n.4 was part of the Savoia Royal Convoy realized in 1891 by the firm Klett of Nürnberg. In the 1901, after the slope to the throne of the Kingdom of
Italy of Majesty King Vittorio Emanuele III°, the convoy was submitted to a radical restructuring in the inside disposition and furnishings and in the mechanical part.
In fact, the original wooden chassis and the American trolleys were replaced by a chassis in steel and by the " Fox " trolley, that represented to the most modern
tecnology of the Adriatic Railway.
The chassis is completed by every detail : the load-bearing structures, headings of springy bumpers, double articulated hooks, little staircase for admission with
the really folding rungs like the reality.
The bellows on the headings, assembled in open position, can be replaced by others in closed position, furnished in the same packaging.
The trolley are really sprung and complete in every detail. They reproduce the original " Fox " or " A" trolley of the F.S.
The Parlor Smokers, the compartments for the Cuirassiers of the escort and the toilet are also them source of surprises for the completeness and details. The
coach is carefully painted in the traditional blue "night" and decorated with fine gold fillets. The chassis is painted in black and the roof in grey like the real one.
The removable roof allows to appreciate the draperies and furnishing that are reproduced in every detail. In the dinning room there are the large mirror,
the great central table, the pit-stall, the wall and ceiling chandeliers that give glamour to this reproduction.
The gas illumination plant was replaced by an modern electric plant with accumulators The vent holes on the roof were replaced by more effective aspirators.
Finally, through the addition of a dispensation and a toilet were created with a dining room. The original furnishing were maintained unchanged,
with the only substitution of the draperies and the coverings in cloth. The trolley are endowed with contacts of tide for the optional illumination plant inside the coach.
The Top-Train model is the faithful reconstruction, in scale 1:87 of this prestigious historian coach, as it was around 1910. This models is reproduced by the
original projects from the file of Savoia House, from the file of State in Rome, from the file of the office Studies and Testings in Florence and from the file
