annexed to the Kingdom of Italy.
With the entry of the Royal FIAT Train (1929), this original Royal Convoy lost the exclusive and prestigious role. It was reduced in the basic composition and it was employed as Royal Train on the Sardinian Railway, where some coachs survived up to the fifties. In the 1910 - 1918, period of the Top-Train model reproduction, the Royal Train was normally hauled by a couple of steam locomotives derived from the F.S. Group 680, one of these like principal (holder) and one that, always turned on, it acted as reserve. | |||||
